The commercial counselor’s office of China’s embassy in India received the anti-dumping notice from Indian Ministry of Commerce & Industry on Feb. 25th. The ministry released the re-examination details of anti-dumping act imposed against PTFE manufactured from China on Feb. 19th.

Due to China’s designation as a non-market economy by Indian anti-dumping commission, the normal value of all the exported PTEC products from China are rated via the constructed price. Consequently, one of the China enterprises involved in this accusation, DuPont suffered from a dumping margin ranging from 52% to 57%, while the dumping margin of other enterprises involved in this case was elevated to 55%-60%.

Meanwhile, the commission made a comprehensive evaluation of the price of raw materials, labor cost, interest rate, marketing expenses and other factors. Thus, the industry injury extent inflicted by this anti-dumping measure for DuPont located in Changshu and other China’s enterprises was estimated respectively up to 32%-38% and yet 65%-70% .
